“Lynn”Errolynn Larsen, our beloved father, husband, grandfather and friend, passed away at his home on September 1, 2010 after a long hard fought battle with cancer.He was born November 8, 1939 in Glenwood, Utah; son of Errol Elmo Larsen and Ada Sampson Larsen. He grew up a country boy and remained one throughout his life. He was a member of the LDS Church.He married sweetheart, Renee Moosman, after a long chase on February 4, 1961 in Annabella, Utah. They moved to the big city and started life together, where they spent the next 49 years loving each other and their family. He loved the great outdoors hunting, fishing, and any sports his sons, daughter and grandchildren were involved in. He was very proud of all of them. He loved talking of his country life and the many adventures with his friends. He loved his many years working at Shriner’s Hospital and being around the children there.He is survived by his wife, Renee; his sons, Ray (Linda), Kendall (Christine); and daughter, Kimberly (Joseph); his nine grandchildren, Abby, Jessie, Chance, Candace, Kameron, Kolton, Tony, Matt and Zach; as well as four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents.As Lynn was not a fan of social gatherings, his wish was to keep things simple. There will be a viewing at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 10:00-11:45 a.m. A graveside service will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday as well at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 South Vine Street for family and close friends.
