Estella Kathleen Marchant Dahl Obituary (1944 - 2022)

Estella Kathleen Marchant Dahl, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on September 28, 2022 at 7:29 a.m. She was born February 6, 1944 in Holladay, Utah to Dilworth Marchant and Estella Calderwood Marchant. She graduated from Olympus High School and went to college at Utah State University. She was married to Robert Malen Dahl (div) and had two children, Stephanie Keryth Dahl (Gary) and Jordan Dahl (Teresa). Kathleen lived an adventurous and full life, from moving to New York with no job and $500.00 to spending two years in America Samoa. She loved to travel and loved the travel industry, being one of the original employees of Morris Air, Funjet, and Jet Blue. She also loved gardening and could tell you the “real” name of any flower or plant. But most of all she loved the Church (lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), her children, and later her grandchildren: Kaylee Genessy, Tiraliese Maida Poret, Brooklyn Marie Dahl, and Ronyn Mae Poret. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 4, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church located at 7255 South 2200 West. It will be simulcast for those unable to attend. No processional afterwards as it was her wish to be cremated.
