EuGene Cecil "Geno" Hansen Obituary (1961 - 2014)

Our Loving Son, Brother, Brother-In-Law, Uncle & Friend "Geno" left this earth July 26, 2014 at the age of 53. Geno was born February 8, 1961, to Carl L. and LuGene Little Hansen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Geno was employed by the Canyons School District in the Transportation Department. He truly loved his job as a school bus attendant helping little children get on and off the school bus. He looked forward each day to getting up and going to work and said "these are the best days of my life". His love for animals included his dogs Jasper, Keisha and Ozzy. He loved spending time outdoors four-wheeling with family and camping with his dog. He enjoyed spending time with his family barbequing and attending family reunions. His love of sports included baseball and football. He was a big "U" football fan who proudly wore his "Red" & "White". . . Go UTES! Our family's loss has become many families gain thru Geno's organ and tissue donation. He is survived by his parents, Carl and LuGene Hansen; sister, Deborah "Deb" (Noel) Smith; brothers, Bryan (Robyn) Hansen and Chris (Sarah) Hansen; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends; and his dog, "Ozzy". He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil & LaDonna Hansen and Joseph & Virla Little; and a nephew, Chad Noel Smith. Services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014, at 12:00 noon at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street with a viewing prior to the funeral from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment: West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 So. 1300 W. Funeral Home: Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary-Murray 4760 So.
