Faith Elizabeth Pitts Obituary (2002 - 2020)

View Funeral Webcast Faith Elizabeth Pitts, age 18, passed away unexpectedly on December 4, 2020. Faith was born on May 17, 2002 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is survived by two loving parents, Jeff and Lisa, three adoring siblings, Heather, Rachel and Jaryd, two brothers-in-law, Andy and Zach, and three nieces, Isabelle, Lenora and Alice. Papa Richard Golightly, Aunts, Uncles and cousins (too many to mention by name). To all her friends, know she was your best friend. She loved us all. Faith was a miracle baby. 10 years after her mom had her tubes tied, Faith came into this world. Every single day of her life she brought love, joy and laughter to her family. Words cannot begin to describe the amazing spirit that was Faith, or the happiness she brought to her friends and family. She had a huge personality!! She was sassy, brilliant, she had a very sharp wit, and the brightest light. Faith cared so much for everyone. When she talked to you, you felt like you were the only person in the room. She was the best at building people up and giving others confidence to be their true selves. Faith would walk into a room of strangers and leave with a room full of new best friends. She could talk to anyone, loved being with her friends, and her best friend was her mom. She was an extremely talented artist and a true athlete. She played every sport-soccer, volleyball and softball. Earlier this year, during her Senior year, Faith made the Varsity softball team at Olympus High School and was unanimously voted captain. Out of all the sports, she loved softball the most. Her Coaches, Jackson White and his father PaPa Wes, challenged her to be better and she loved all her softball family. Unfortunately, the season was cancelled, and she graduated during the height of the pandemic… but she never complained. Instead she moved on, getting her first job at World Market (one of her favorite stores), bought her first car, and enrolled in SLCC. Her future was so bright. She will be missed every day, but she will live on in the memories of her loved ones. She touched so many lives, and it gives us comfort to know she will live on in so many others. Proceeded in death by great grandparents, Grammy Judy Golightly, Derald and Rosanna Pitts, Aunt Leslie Boyer, Uncles, Aunts, cousins- Baby G and Kiersten. Fly high our sweet miracle baby. We love you beyond words. We will miss you every day, and we are thankful that families are forever. In lieu of flowers please donate blood. We are holding a blood drive in Faith’s honor December 30th at the Willow Creek Stake Center on 2350 East Creek Road. Please contact Heather for times. We also ask that you wear bright colors (or softball uniforms for any of her softball team mates). Faith was the brightest star in our sky, and she would not want us to wear black.
