Fineeva Maka Obituary (1974 - 2021)

Fineeva Maka age 46 passed away peacefully after 7 hard months of suffering from bone cancer on Thursday May 13, 2021 and is now reunited with the love of his life, the belated Ilaisaane Matei Fiefia Maka. He was born in Tonga January 29, 1974 to MoheNoah and Naini Maka and moved to America at the age of 5 where he was raised from California to Utah. He was sealed to his eternal companion on July 25, 1998 and bore 8 children who are Kapiolani, Selaima, Fineeva, Semisi Lutui, Ikani, Opeti, Siaosi and Asena Maka. He had many talents such as body building, cooking, drawing, crafting, engineering and even talking to people. One of the talents he was most passionate about was arm wrestling and helping youth find it as a passion out of trouble. He was a former professional arm wrestler who traveled the world to compete and loved it. He never wanted people to worry about him and always taught his children to love God and to always pray. Us as his children are very sad that he is no longer with us but we are happy and at peace knowing that he is not suffering anymore from cancer and is now with our mom watching over us until we meet again. A viewing will be held May 19th, 2021, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon prior to the Funeral Services at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, located at 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah.
