Frances Bachelder Caughey Obituary (1920 - 2008)

“Together Forever” “I’ve taken my marbles and gone home!” Frances Evelyn Bachelder Caughey was born on January 20, 1920 in Tilton, NH to Clarence Richard and Grace Adela Crockett Bachelder. She died February 16, 2008, after a long illness. She married Theodore Gilbert Caughey on October 14, 1944. Their marriage was solmnized in Salt Lake Temple in January 1962. Frances was a faithful member of the LDS Church and held various callings throughout her life. Frances loved children and taught Kindergarten until her retirement in 1987. Her greatest loves were her family and all children. Frances is survived by her daughters, Ellen Daniel and Colleen (Ron) Caldwell and her son William (Gloria) Caughey, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her oldest son Charles, husband, parents and her only sister, Louise. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 23, 2008, 11:00 am at the Jordan River 8th Ward, 1229 W. 10775 So., South Jordan, Utah. Friends and family may call Thursday, February 22, 2008 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service at the church.
