Gary Pasiaki (Muli-ki-Uiha) Kinikini Obituary (1985 - 2020)

Doctrine and Covenants 42:43-44: “And whosoever among you are a sick, and have not faith to be healed, but believe, shall be nourished with all tenderness... and if they die they shall die unto me, and if they live they shall live unto me.” Muli was the youngest of 9 siblings but beyond his years. His quiet demeanor was complimented with his powerful Christ-like examples. Muli married his eternal companion, Lorin, in 2006 and immediately started their eternal family. His wife and children were his world and truest friends. He did everything for their happiness and to secure their eternal joy. He was also adored by and had a special relationship with each of his nieces and nephews. He was a loyal friend and always came through for his G-house family. He was preceded in death by his father, Sione Takapautolo Kinikini; mother, Mele Manu Latu Kinikini; twin nieces Kalolaine Katea and Langatotoa He-otukinekina Fangupo; and best friend, Sione Ray Tuineau. Muli graduated from Granger High School where he was known for being a mulit-sport athlete with accolades in baseball. Muli was also an Eagle scout, a small business (construction) owner /entrepreneur, and a Young Men leader of several years. He will be truly missed by many. Survived by his wife, Lorin Tuliafiafiosinalevaifoa Te’o Kinikini; children: Sione Takapautolo (son, 14), Luteru Ray (son, 13), Ana Sinauele (daughter, 9), Mele Manu (daughter, 5), and Sunia Jazz (son, 3). He is also survived by his siblings: Tevita Elini (Eusenia), Mele Lilo Fangupo (Siotame), Paula Langi (Ofeira), Viliami Muli (Sipola), Dyan-Rose Tuakoi (Simote), Kime Takapautolo (Ana Michelle), Sunia Foliaki (Trinidad) and Semisi Ula (Veroly). Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Mount Jordan 7th Ward, 235 East Sego Lily Drive, Sandy, Utah. A Viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm prior to services. Interment will be in the Memorial Estates Redwood Cemetery, 6500 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT.
