“Gary Mac”Gary Mac passed along and entered the presence of heaven on May 2, 2011.He was born on September 20, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas where his journey began. As a young man he enjoyed the outdoors of New Mexico and all that had to offer. During his high school years, he successfully competed in swimming and wrestling and later coached and motivated the swim team.Gary seemed to want to try a little bit of everything. He served as a crew chief fighting fires in Alaska, managed fitness clubs, competed at a very high level in downhill snow ski racing. He took his knowledge and exceptional personality to the ski instructor business. Everybody he came into contact with felt his kindness and immediately became his friend.He loved his family and spoke fondly of them often. He enjoyed the family cabin on the Strawberry Lake, fishing and catching crawdads on the dock. He enjoyed services on most Sundays at K2 Church.
