Loving Mother & Grandmother\r\nGeri Prpich, age 89, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2021 in Riverton, Utah. Geri was born on June 23, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arthur S. and Miriam Henricksen. She Married Tony Prpich on August 11, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nevada.\r\nAfter graduating from Murray High School Geri worked at several local grocery stores prior to moving to San Francisco, California living with her sister Maurine and working at the Presidio. After she returned to Utah, she lived in Murray with her sister Donna and family. In November 1954 she met Tony Prpich. \r\nGeri was a wonderful homemaker baking homemade bread 3 times a week for many years while caring for her home and raising her family with Tony. She also found time to crochet unique Afghans with individual patterns and colors for her children and grandchildren. \r\nShe is survived by her children Mark (Sarah) St. Paul, Minnesota, Robert (Aimee) Riverton, Utah, Scott (Denise) Riverton, Utah, Lisa (Ron) Webb West Jordan, Utah; five grandchildren Tony, David, Marah, Tayte, Trace; brother Jim (Donna) Salt Lake City and many nieces and nephews. \r\nGeri was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; granddaughter Taylor Hope, sisters, Maurine, Donna, Deaun; and brothers Dick and Ray.\r\nGeri’s family would like to thank the compassionate and caring staff of Beehive Homes of Riverton who welcomed her in April 2019 with open arms. They loved and cared for Geri these past 29 months.\r\nA grave side service will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 1:00 PM at the Murray City Cemetery located at 5490 South Vine Street Murray, Utah. \r\nOnline condolences at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
