“Our loving Husband, Father and Grandpa”\nOur loving Husband, Father, and Grandpa returned to Heavenly Father on November 15, 2007. Glenn was born in Teasdale, Utah to Isabelle and Lewis Allen, on September 8, 1934. He graduated from Wayne High School where he excelled at Baseball, Basketball, and Tennis. Glenn was married to his sweetheart Bertha Gallegos on June 16th 1956.\nHe served in the Army for 2 years, then in 1963 Glenn and Bertha opened Allen’s Preschool and Day Care in Murray, Utah. He spent the happiest part of his life caring for and teaching other peoples children. Their daughter Kelly grew up there and joined them in the business. When Glenn was not at work he enjoyed golfing with his buddies.\nGlenn is survived by his wife of 51 years Bertha. His daughter Kelly and her husband Jason whom he thought of as a son, his grandchildren Michael, Marrina and Erin. He is also survived by his sisters Lynn, Leda, Youma, and Ava; and his brothers Kay and Bob. Glenn was greeted on the other side by his granddaughter Trinitie, his brothers Orian and Carl; and his sister Jean.\nFuneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Willow Creek 7th Ward, 2115 Creek Road (8100 South) where friends and family may visit on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, and on Saturday, one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.
