He married Jacqueline Wells September 16, 1955.\nHe was employed at Kennecott Utah Copper for 32 years. He also owned and operated a 200 acres Cattle Ranch and was a Registered Brand holder and belonged to the Cattleman’s Association.\nMarlin’s greatest joy was his family and friends.\nSurvived by his wife, Jacqueline; daughter, Vickie G. Bateman; son, Tom M. Green; grandson, Shawn Bateman (Amy); granddaughters, Tiffany Bateman-Bone (Doug), Kristie Green, Heather Green; brothers, Gerald Green (Carolyn), Dale Green (Kerry); sister, Delores Kershaw (Jerry); great-grandchildren, Jordan Bateman, Zachary Bateman, Isaac Bateman. He was preceded in death by his father.\nFuneral services will be held Thursday, July 13th at 10:30 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, Murray, Utah.
