Emily Grace Ham, known as Grace Ham, a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and colleague, passed away peacefully at home, on October 4th at the age of 92. Born on May 16 1931, Grace was the cherished daughter of Golda and Vilas Brown. She grew up in West Jordan, Utah, where her vibrant spirit and warm heart endeared her to everyone she met.\n\nGrace was a beacon of positivity, always eager to lend a helping hand and brighten the lives of those around her. Grace enjoyed sports and the arts, was an excellent cook, had a passion for gardening, a soft, kind heart toward animals and a deep appreciation for nature. Christmas was her favorite time of year, she loves everything that Christmas stood for, and it brought such a joy alive in her, as she celebrated the holidays with family and friends. She was an avid softball pitcher and had a fierce competitive spirit. She also had a talent for music and painting.\n\nProceeding her death are her parents, her husband Bill Ham, her siblings Shirley Holder, and Jay Brown. Grace is survived by her brother Richard Brown, her children Theresa, Mike, Robby, and Leslie, and many grandchildren. Grace’s memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and colleagues. Although she is no longer with us, her kindness, laughter, and love will continue to inspire us all. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, and positivity that will serve as a guiding light for generations to come.\n\nA viewing will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 pm, followed by a brief memorial service at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, located at 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095. Interment at South Jordan City Cemetery.\n\nGrace Ham may have left this world, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
