Gregory Ray Noland

Loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend passed away on March 7, 2014 at the age of 49. Greg was born on November 2, 1964 to Dena and Larry Noland in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Granite High School and later attended Salt Lake Community College, where he graduated with honors. Greg worked at Boeing/ McDonald Douglas as a Fabrication Specialist for the past 25 years. He was especially proud of his work on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Greg was a devoted and loving father to his daughters, Kalina and Sierra Noland. He adored his twin granddaughters, Avery and Aurora. Greg is survived by his daughters; granddaughters; mother; and sister, Lezlie (Henry) Sauer; and nephew, Hayden; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his father, Larry.

Greg was an enthusiastic outdoorsman, who loved fishing, camping, boating and hunting. As a young man, Greg excelled in many sports including baseball, wrestling, football and motorcycle racing.

He will be remembered as a kind-hearted and gentle man by many.

A Celebration of Life for Greg will be Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Greek Market located at 3205 S. State Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Trout Unlimited at www.tu.org. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com
