“You will be missed”\nGwenith Grace Grierson Lennartson, age 82, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2007, in Salt Lake City.\nGwen was born April 29, 1924 in Salt Lake City, UT to George and Ethel Grierson, but resided most of her life in Northern Minnesota. She married Warren A. Lennartson on February 9, 1946 in Hibbing, MN. From working in a bomb factory during WWII, to the local department store, to serving school lunch, Gwen was a wonderful, hard working woman. But her main concern in life was caring for her sweet family.\nShe enjoyed traveling from Salt Lake City to Minnesota, going on cruises and vacationing with Warren and their friends, quick trips to Wendover, playing cards, but more than anything, spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gwen was a dedicated member of the St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. She had many wonderful friends, but she and Vivian Ebner were especially close and had great times together. \nGwen is survived by one daughter, Linda Williams, Murray; and three sons: Wade (Cynthia), Grand Junction, CO; Barney (Patti), Seattle, WA; Jim (Teri), Murray, UT; grandchildren: Connie (Darren), Wayne, Jason, Ryan (Lindsay), Jordan, Stevie, Justin and Samantha; great-grandchildren: Logan and Gavin. Preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Warren, and her grandson Jay, and her sister Gael.\nA memorial service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Taylorsville, UT at 3:00 p.m. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Woodland Park Care Center for their compassionate care the past few weeks.
