Gypsy Mae “Jackie” Spurlock, 79, passed away April 24, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah, incident to age. \n\nShe was born on March 27, 1929 in Wayne County, West Virginia to Thomas and Martha Hale Watts. \n\nJackie was an avid reader and she liked to go spend time in the mountains. She worked for the Forest Service in Utah for 6 years. Jackie was known for her spirited and determined nature. You either loved her or not and she will be greatly missed.\n\nShe is survived by her two sons Walter and James “Beau”. Grandchildren: Sherrie, Jasen “Bear”, and Susan “Sis” and five great-grandchildren.\n\nA wake will take place on Wednesday, April 30, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at 136 East Garden Park Circle (2900 South), Salt Lake City.
