Ha Su Tran, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at home in West Valley on December 20, 2020 with family by his side.\r\n\r\nHa was born on May 21st, 1946 in Vietnam. He served in the Vietnam War delivering supplies to soldiers in the field for the Republic of Vietnam. In 1982, after the war, Ha escaped the Vietnamese communist regime and settled in Utah where he called home.\r\n\r\nHa loved being around family and friends. Family gatherings are highlighted with trips to Timpanogos Cave in the summer months to endless hours of playing cards. And morning coffee was a constant where he connects with friends.\r\n\r\nHa is survived by his wife Tran Hua, five daughters Linh (Toan), Van (Dave), Hien (Sammy), Ha (Peter), Phuong (Tai), sisters Le Tran, Mai Tran (Francisco Contreras), Muoi Tran, 11 grandchildren and other extended family members.\r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by his parents Ai Tran and Xuan Lam, older sister Tran Tran, and brothers Burt Vorasane and Binh Tran.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Homes & Cremation Center, located on 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah with viewing from 12PM – 2PM.
