Harold Jay Wardle

–

Provo, UT

Our beloved brother, uncle and friend, Harold Jay Wardle, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2016. He just recently had his 80th birthday. Harold was born in West Jordan, Utah on August 2, 1936 to Samuel William Wardle and Edna Levera Palmer Wardle. He was the youngest of four children. Throughout his life he made many friends from all over. His best friends were Don, Larry, and Richard at Medallion Manor. In his lifetime he had a garbage route.

He worked at Central Utah Enterprises for 30 years. He lived at Medallion Manor for 30 years. Harold loved Snickers candy bars and Pepsi. Harold enjoyed spending time with family and having barbeque at his sister Nola Kirk's, Bob Wardle's, and Janice Mounteer's houses. Harold loved going to his nephew, Bob Wardle's, house. He loved the horses and farm animals. He also loved going to the cooking and craft classes at Medallion Manor. He loved going to Jazz games and watching them on TV. He had to always watch Lawrence Welk; he would never miss a show. We can only imagine the reunion that is happening with all his relatives on the other side, especially his parents. Harold, we will all miss you and will see you in heaven.

Harold is survived by: his sister, Nola G. Kirk (Max), lots of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Wardle and Edna Levera Wardle; sister, Rea Fay Wardle; brother, Wayne G. Wardle; and stepfather, Joseph B. Carlise.
