Helen Virginia Fowler White passed away on June 2, 2021. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 2, 1928 to Ernest E. Fowler and Maude Chapman Fowler who are now deceased, as is her brother, Richard.\r\n\r\nShe lived in several different cities during her childhood and several more during the remainder of her life.\r\n\r\nHelen spent over 57 years in the workforce at a variety of clerical and retail positions, but particularly cherished the years as an airline employee, especially those as a stewardess with United Airlines in the 1950’s.\r\n\r\nShe married Bob Owen White on November 20, 1954. He passed away March 22, 2011. Their only child, Thomas Wesley White, died in infancy.\r\n\r\nHelen enjoyed the arts and felt fortunate to have been in some locally filmed movies and TV commercials. She loved to travel. Many of her dreams to see the world were fulfilled.\r\n\r\nAt her request and at a future date, her ashes will be scattered off the Monterey Peninsula in northern California – a place where she had always wanted to live.
