Holley Robison Obituary (1991 - 2022)

On May 17th, 2022, Holley Noelle Robison passed away in her home in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 30. She was born in the year 1991 to Pamela June Robison and Martin Luther Robison III in Dallas, Texas. In her short life, Holley was many things: from a Nanny to an Author to a loving Aunt and Sister, but perhaps most of all, she was a friend to nearly everyone she met. She possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of comics, comic history and general nerd culture. She loved going to conventions and meeting and talking with the people that made the comics, movies, and things she enjoyed. Some have even said she was a nerd scientist who specialized in field research. During such research, she was able to meet many celebrities and other experts in the field and became lifelong friends with many of them. Taking her niece, nephew, and sister to meet Stan Lee was definitely counted among the highlights of her research trips. She was an outspoken activist for the rights of sexual assault survivors, women, and people with disabilities, the LGBTQ community and animals. Her dedication to these causes was relentless and she did everything she could to help whoever she could. Sometimes she would do this by simply making herself available as a person willing to listen as people she may have never met talked to her about their trauma. She would also help raise funds for the organizations and causes that she believed in. On two occasions, she adopted aging cats who otherwise would have spent the rest of their lives waiting for a forever home that may not have come. She was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended the Liberty Park Young Single Adult Ward and regularly participated in Family home evenings there. Her name was Holley. She didn’t have a left arm; which means Bucky Barnes loved her more than he loves you. She leaves behind her Mother and Father as well as her 7 siblings, many nieces, nephews, countless friends and Nelle, her aging cat who is utterly heartbroken to have outlived her dear friend.
