“Simply the Best”\nHoward Dee Garrett, age 79, the best dad and grandpa ever, a kind, loving and hard working man, passed away December 19, 2007, of a cerebellum stroke.\nBorn July 7, 1928, in Nephi, Utah to Ruth Smith. Married Josephine Cano in 1952. Served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1953.\nHoward worked for Bennett Glass and Paint for many years before starting his own cement yard fixture business. He then moved on to do outdoor plumbing for most of his life.\nPreceded in death by his wife Josephine. Survived by daughters; Pam Smith (Dennis, Ashley, Ayden, Thaddeus, Tami, Scout, and Shea); Sharon Bolam (Michael, Mackenzie, and Maddison); Jackie Garrett (Desi Brown-Odekirk (Scott), and Taylor Bischoff).\nFuneral services will be held on Friday, December 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. Friends may call from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 South Vine Street.
