Eagle Mountain, Utah

Husten Kole Morris “Cokie”

Husten came into this world weighing in at a mighty 3 lbs 13 oz and stretching 15.5 inches long. Though he may have been small, a fighter he was and remained throughout his twenty-one years of life… always defying the odds. From an early age, we could tell how truly special Husten was and continued to be. He delighted our days with joyful smiles, dancing Frosty’s, and the warmest hugs. Husten was diagnosed with autism and this was his SUPERPOWER! He was blessed with the most special gifts in this life, to see all others how God sees them. He taught us how to love others unconditionally and only show kindness. He brought light and joy to all blessed to love, know, or ever just encounter him. He truly made friends everywhere he went. This ray of sunshine could travel all the way across the country and still run into people he knew and loved him. Husten not only brought light and joy, he kept his family laughing through many Texans games and applauding his marvelous singing and dancing abilities. Husten was a true ray of sunshine in the darkness. His light will be more missed than words can express. We love you Husten!

Husten was one of the most passionate people. He was the absolute number one Utah Jazz fan! If you have ever watched a game with Husten, you know it will never be the same again. He won several contests, including a dance off that was just so good he told Thurl Bailey he should probably get a picture with Husten since he was so amazing at dancing. Husten was also a loyal Houston Texans football fan, even when they would lose. Get it together boys, Husten needs the wins! He had the hands down best Donald Trump impression, loves WWE, Frosty the Snowman, and all things Christmas. The Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade was a must watch every year! He was an early riser and knew all the balloons, floats, characters, etc. If you didn’t know about the parade, he would tell you all about it! Most of all, Husten was passionate about his family and friends. Husten had 2 older brothers, 2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters, a bonus sister, along with being an uncle to a niece and nephew. He loved them dearly! He loved spending time with them. Teaching them things, and playing with them.

Husten is survived by his parents Jim and Kathy Morris, siblings Ryan (Shae) Bemis, Kaden, Kamryn, Kyson, Asher, Zaylee, niece Brecklynn, nephew Dayton, Grandma Kathy Morris, Grandma Ruth Bemis, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by brother Jaxson, Grandpa Vern Morris, and Grandpa Vonny Bemis.
