Click HERE to view Graveside Services for Ike May\r\n\r\nOur loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend, Ike Jones May, passed away Sunday May 10, 2020. Ike was born to Proctor and Alene May in Monticello, Utah. During his early years in Blanding he and his seven brothers made many happy memories. At age 12 his family moved to Granger, Utah. He graduated from Granger High School where he was elected Student Body President. He served as a missionary in Birmingham, England from 1973-1975. Following his mission he married his high school sweetheart, Marilyn Walker in the Salt Lake Temple. He was employed by Associated Food Stores for 44 years where he made many lasting friendships. Throughout his life he served in many capacities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His favorite calling was serving with Marilyn as a Guest Service Missionary on Temple Square. The greatest joy of Ike’s life was his family. His most cherished memories were made when the family was gathered together. Ike will always be remembered for his willingness to help others, his gift to fix anything, and his talent to bring humor to any situation. Ike is survived by his wife- Marilyn, children-Allison (Brent) Bailey, Heidi (Lance) Elsasser, Brad (Karon) May, ten grandchildren, twin brother-Fred, brothers- Gordon, and John. Preceded in death by his parents, son-Jonathan, and brothers-Tom, Francis, Donald, and Walt.\r\nDue to current gathering restrictions we will be holding a private graveside service for immediate family only on Friday May 15, 2020. Services will be broadcast on Facebook Live.
