Ila Winters Bean Bryson

Ila Winters Bean Bryson, died January 23, 2008.

Born May 9th 1925 in Coalville, Utah to Byron Winters and Lola Bailey she was the 4th of 7 children. She grew up in Coalville but some of her fondest childhood memories were of Grass Creek, Utah. She attended North Summit High School. She married Kenneth Joshua Bean for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She later married Gerald R. Bryson. Both husbands preceded her in death.

Ila served a mission in Dallas, Texas and as Relief Society President. She worked as a customer service representative for Sears before retiring.

Ila had 4 children: Kenneth J. Bean (Carol Lee, St. George), Jack R. Bean (Maggie, Scotland), (both sons preceded her in death), Carol A. Young (WA, Tooele), and Patricia K. Downward (Jeff, South Jordan). She had 12 grand children (grandson Dustin J. Downward preceded her in death) and 12 great grand children.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2008, at 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) where friends and family may call Friday, January 25, 2008 from 6-8 pm and Saturday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service.
