Ina LaVar LeBeau Anderson Obituary (1917 - 2006)

Ina LaVar LeBeau Anderson passed away peacefully Thursday, March 2, 2006 at her daughter’s South Jordan home. Ina was born October 9, 1917 in Vernal, Utah to Joseph Adolphus LeBeau and Maude Eva Redden LeBeau. She married Roland Grant Weed, later divorced, and then married Wallace Ray Anderson on May 1, 1948. Their marriage was later solemized in the Salt Lake Temple on September 10, 1953. She graduated from Brigham Young University and taught at Davis and Park City High Schools, Ashley Valley Junior High School and retired as an elementary school teacher in Vernal, Utah after 42 years of total service. She loved gardening, fishing and traveling with Wallace. Their home in Maeser, Utah was always a showplace of flowers, trees, and vegetables in their garden. Ina was an active member of the LDS Church and enjoyed serving missions with her husband Wallace as directors of the LDS Employment Office in Vernal and then later as directors of the Family History Library in Vernal. She was preceded in death by her eternal companion Wallace. She was the mother of five children, grandmother to sixteen and great grandmother of twenty three. She is survived by two brothers, Ted LeBeau of Mapleton, Utah, and Jerry LeBeau of Arizona,. Her children: Karen Brown of Castledale, Utah, Bonnie Jo Fisher (Kenneth) of South Jordan and Donna Rae Frandsen of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Also preceded in death by sons; Roland G. Weed and Calvin R. Anderson, son-in-laws; Robert Brown, and Greg Frandsen, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2006, at the Jenkins Soffe South Valley Chapel, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S). Friends are invited to attend a viewing at 9:00 A.M., with chapel services beginning at 10:00 A.M.
