Beloved Husband & Father\nJack LaMar Rudy, 77, passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2008. Born August 13, 1930 in Salt Lake City to Hazel Pearl Thomas and Franklin Charles Rudy. He graduated from West High School in 1949. Married for 57 years to Patricia Berntsen on December 4, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple.\nPreceded in death by his mother, father, sister, brother and grandson, James L. Rudy and Jeffrey Peterson, son-in-law. Survived by his wife, son Kenneth (Liz) Rudy, daughter Debra (Steve) Hoopes and Diane (Mike) Tweet, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.\nFuneral services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray. Friends may call at the Mortuary Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment Murray City Cemetery.\nThanks to nurses and staff at Hearts of Hospice for their care and concern for Jack.
