“Love Ya”\nOur loving daughter, wife, mother, niece and friend returned home to our Heavenly Father after a long illness. She was born in Salt Lake City to Steven C. Parton and Irene Seare of Salt Lake City. \nRaised in Salt Lake City, Utah, graduated from Kearns High, and Utah State with a bachelor degree in Social Work. \nShe dedicated her life to battered women and families. She served her mission in Riverside, CA. She’s a member of the Winder 5th Ward. She served in the Primary Presidency; she enjoyed needle work, scrap booking and word search puzzles. \nJackie’s love and selfless devotion to others was prominent in everything she did from playing with her nieces and nephews to the choice of her career. She was sealed to Kirk A. Hathaway on December 3, 1999 in the Salt Lake Temple. \nJackie is survived by her husband, step-son Kirk (KJ) Hathaway, mother and father, sister; Jody Siddiqui, brother; Steve C. Parton Jr. and her large extended family. She is preceded in death by her natural grandfather Dr. Richard A. Seare, grandmother, Arlene M. Nielsen and grandfather Major Joseph C. Parton and her niece JaCee Leigh Hathaway. \nFuneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 7, 2007 at the Winder 5th Ward, 1361 East 4000 South. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church. Interment at Murray City Cemetery. \nThe family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the NCC at the University of Utah Hospital for all their help and support for taking care of Jackie. A special thanks to her family and friends and the members of the Winder 5th Ward during the short time she had left.
