Jacqueline Fae Stireman passed away peacefully on August 20, 2008 after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer.\n\nJacqueline was born April 7, 1934 in Boise, Idaho to Cecil and Thursa Engelman. She moved with her family to Provo in 1943 where she attended Farrer Junior High and B.Y. High Schools. She was active in Job’s Daughters and later became Bethel Guardian of Bethel #15 in Clearfield. In 1958 she married Loren Roger Stireman. Together they have three children and three grandchildren.\n\nThe family moved to Layton in 1970 where both Jacque and Loren worked at Hill Air Force Base. Jacque retired in 1994 and later became a snowbird, enjoying winters in Mesa, Arizona. \nJacque was an avid gardener and enjoyed trailering as well as many hobbies including watercolor painting at which she excelled.\n\nShe is survived by her husband Roger, daughter Marci (Esparza) of Sandy, son Matthew of Jackson Hole, WY, daughter Mikan (Gosuico) of Sacramento, CA, grandchildren Kelsy (Bingham) of Ogden, Zachary of Las Vegas, and Kasey (Gosuico), and sister Celia (Snelson) of Springville. \n\nGraveside services will be held Saturday August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 S. Vine Street. Immediately following, friends and family are invited to join a celebration of her life.
