“Big Jack”\n\n\nBeloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, Jack Krahenbuhl, \nage 72, passed away peacefully December 6, 2005 at his home in Yuma, AZ. Born \nJuly 26, 1933 in Redondo Beach, CA to Herman and Mary Hafeli Krahenbuhl. Married Jean Christensen; later divorced.\n\nJack served in the Navy during the Korean War. He owned and operated Big Valley Plumbing for over 20 years. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping—and especially his family and friends. His personality and demeanor will be dearly missed. \n\nJack’s family loved him so much, and he was a great friend to so many. Jack’s boys are so grateful that their Dad taught them the value of hard work. As the years went by, the important things in life became so evident in Jack’s life. Even though he never complained, Jack was a fighter to the end.\n\nSurvived by four sons: Jack (Jody), Jim (Kayleen), Jerry (Stacy), and Jordan; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Howard; brothers, Bob & John; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister, Gertrude; brother, Rex.\n\nGraveside services will be Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 So. Vine Street. Friends and family may call Saturday from \n10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street.
