Salt Lake City, UT

James Ian Stanley Innes passed away on July 19, 2008 with his son Andrew in Price, Utah.

James was born in New Zealand January 13th, 1949 where he was raised on a sheep station. He became a respected figure in the ranching community and was the owner of Haldon Station in the McKenzie Country. It was in this spectacular landscape that he developed his love for animals and the outdoors. James was a pioneer in animal husbandry and had a natural gift in working with wildlife. He was an accomplished pilot and joined his passion for animals and flying in the creation of Helicopter Wildlife Management. In recent years, he’d ventured into the insurance business. In all of his endeavors, James strived for a family atmosphere. He cared deeply for every person he met in his extensive travels. Charming and charismatic, he was an unforgettable figure.

He is survived by his “wee bride”, Debi White; sister, Annabel (Arnid); brother, Gerald (Dee); sister, Rosie; son Mingo (Susan); granddaughter, Rose; daughter-in-law, Season, and many friends and loved ones across the entire globe. He is preceded by his son Daniel; brother, David; father, Ian and mother, Cecily.

We will all miss you terribly and keep your memory alive forever, in our hearts.
