“Dad can do Anything”\nJim ended a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. He was an amazing man and a true warrior. Cancer was the only battle he could not win.\nJim was an incredibly strong, independent man with a huge heart. His talents reached all the way to the stars and back. He was the ultimate self taught fix-it man. There wasn’t anything Jim couldn’t do and he loved the never ending “Daddy Do Lists” we all had for him. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.\nJim comes from a large loving family from Midvale, consisting of 9 siblings. He married Carole Jean Coletti, the love of his life, in 1963 and was married for 44 years. They had two children, daughter Jodie, son Tim. Two grandsons Alexander and Oliver his fishing/golf buddy.\nHe retired from Varian Medical and moved to Mesquite, Nevada to enjoy the things he loved to do, Golf, Gamble and Fish.\nMemorial services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Chapel located on 4760 South State Street.\nIn lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.\nWe will miss you JAP.
