“Beloved Sister”
JANEIL ROSENHAN, our loving sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend, age 74, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 9, 2008. She was born May 8, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Armin Alfred Rosenhan and Violet Elizabeth Christensen, both deceased.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, true and faithful all her days. She had a strong and abiding love for the Savior and her life of constant serving, loving and giving to others exemplified and reflected her deep testimony. She served an LDS mission to New York in her youth. She worked for the Genealogical Society of the Church.
Her great delight was the love she gave and received from her many nieces and nephews. She loved little children. She always said her grand nieces and grand nephews were her life. This love spread to the youth she taught and cared for while serving as Young Women’s President, Primary President and Primary Teacher.
For the past eight years she has devoted countless hours and all of her heart serving the little ones in Nursery. Her sense of humor brought light into the lives of all who knew her. Her generosity was an example to everyone. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the multitudes who loved her.
She is survived by brothers, Arvon L. (BarBara) Rosenhan, Chad W. (Bonnie Lu) Rosenhan, and a Sister, Kristine Marie (David) Tanner. A beloved sister, Carole Diane Rosenhan, preceded her in death.
