Janella (Jan) Dunson Obituary (1941 - 2020)

In loving memory of Jan. Jan passed away peacefully on February 10, 2020 in Utah. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to James and Cora Mae Foster on June 20, 1941. Jan was raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. Jan married the love of her life, Kenneth Dunson, in 1967. They raised 5 children together in Wichita Falls, this was their joy in life. Jan and Ken had a strong faith and served faithfully in the Faith Baptist Church. Jan loved being active in serving family, her church family, friends and neighbors. Jan and Ken always had dogs and cats that they enjoyed as companions. Jan had a great sense of humor and was always making others laugh. She also enjoyed singing, yard work and other jobs that she held throughout her life. She spent the last years of her life in Utah, close to her daughter Deidre as her caretaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother Jim. She is survived by her children: Randy, Keith, Dede, Deidre, and LeAnn; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. No formal services will be held per the family’s request. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Forever in our hearts you'll stay. We will love you and remember you every single day.
