JaNett Turner Wright Obituary (1942 - 2017)

Born February 4, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Daughter of Viona Kenney and Regnal Margetts Turner. Passed away January 5, 2017 at home surrounded by family. Married her High School Sweetheart Lynn F. Wright on August 24, 1959 and sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 17, 1966. Together they raised their 9 children in Murray, Utah. JaNett was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to all of her 32 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Most of which consider her their best friend, all of whom have a special relationship with her and will miss her dearly. She enjoyed many things over the years, including: Camping, fishing, cooking, doing her crafts such as ceramics, beading, sewing, crocheting, puzzles and rock hunting. She always made sure everyone in her home felt like it was their home. So much so that many of her children's friends called her "Mom". She was adopted when she was a young girl and recently was able to find her natural family. She got to spend some special time with her cousins Jerry Lambert and Diana Dorn. Her brothers Rick Burns (Racheal), Raymond Burns. To talk with her sisters Linda Schleeter and Lois Bujanos (deceased) and her half Brother Allen Madsen. Survived by her loving Husband, her 8 children: Mark Wright (Terri), Cindy Barr (Dave), Janean Turek (Steve), Lisa Stephenson, Wendy Wright, Wayne Wright (Brenda), Margie Vance (Michael), Mike Wright (Stephanie) and her brother Ken Turner (Janice). Preceded in Death by her daughter Kimberly Wright and her parents. Special thanks to Community Nursing Services, Shawn and Vickie Rassmussen and the Murray 22nd Ward for all their help and support during this difficult time. A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12th, at the Murray 22nd Ward, 5555 S. 700 W., Murray, UT.
