Passed away December 23, 2021.\n\nKathy was born December 29, 1961 in Maricopa, Pinal, Arizona.\n\nKathy was a very loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved all those around her she was such a kind and generous person and was always finding ways to help others. Kathy was very creative and talented. She will be dearly missed.\n\nKathy had a zeal for life and was always ready to enjoy experiences with family and friends, both old and new. She had a passion for music and especially loved going to concerts. She also enjoyed cross country skiing, camping, paddle boarding, kayaking, skiing, pickle ball, and golf.\n\nKathy always wanted to explore “Let’s go check it out” she would say, creating new experiences and learning all she could about anything in life. She had an infectious laugh if you heard it from across the room it would instantly put you in a good mood.\n\nKathy is survived by her parents Keith and Jeneal Scow, Husband Mike Ostergaard, Children Kenneth Moore, Anthony (Bernadette) Moore, Grandchildren Gabriel, Riley, and Brisa. Siblings Lori, Valerie (Dave), Julie (Dave), Sherri, Jason (Brooke), Keith, Kevin (Debi), Joey, sister-in-law Lisa, and many nieces and nephews.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her brother James “Jimmy” Scow.\n\nThere will be a private viewing Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary in Murray, Utah.\n\nThe family would like to thank everyone that has helped and cared for Kathy these last few weeks.
