Jaynee Crystal Herrera Obituary (1979 - 2022)

Our beloved Jaynee, age 42, passed away February 17, 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jaynee was breathtaking inside and out, her heart full of grace, and she had a beautiful, heart shaped face. She was and is an angel that filled up our lives with love and happiness. She reminded us daily to “just breathe” and look for joy. Her family will miss her forever. She sang like Snow White and her favorite thing was to sing and dance with her daughters and watch them play together. Her favorite movie was Robin Hood (the Disney version) and she was her husband’s Maid Marian. She was best friends with her daughter Ella and they would always tell each other how much they loved each other with their little phrase “peaches, peaches, pizza.” They helped each other through tough times and loved the saying, “ “Keep your chin up; someday there will be happiness again.”-Robin Hood. Jaynee loved music, comedy shows and musicals. We had the best time going to see our favorite bands U2 and Pearl Jam. She loved to laugh and rewatch her favorite shows like “The Office” and “Always Sunny” with each of us to make us laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. Her laughter and personality were genuine and contagious. She made people feel so loved and like they could be their true self when they were with her. She was a loving aunt to her nieces Zoey and Rosemarie. She absolutely loved babies and being a mom. She was the best mommy to her daughters Ella and Lily and she will continue to be an example of being open minded kind and welcoming to all. Her legacy is the amazing love and joy she shared with her family and friends. Jaynee was so strong and fought against her health issues and pain every second of every day just trying to feel good. We are happy she is free of her pain and her sweet spirit is no longer trapped in her “broken body” as she called it. She was the world’s best boss of our little family and loved us to the moon and back. We will do our best to radiate the love she shared with us and we know she is in our hearts with us for all our future days. We would like to celebrate our beautiful mother, wife, daughter, aunt and sister's joyous life with a celebration of life party on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Shauna’s house at 917 East Malvern Avenue (2600 South), Salt Lake City. We welcome everyone to celebrate Jaynee’s beautiful life with us. Jaynee is survived by her loving Husband Andrew Weeks, and her beautiful daughters Ella Jayne Weeks and Lily Rayne Weeks. She is also survived by her Father Eloy Herrera, her mother Shauna Bennion, her Brother Robert Herrera, and her Sister Michelle Herrera, her niece Zoey Bern, her Aunt Lauri Kelly and cousin Heather Kelly. Jaynee is also survived by Eloy’s many brothers and sisters and their children and their children’s children. She is also survived by Andrews’ mother Lynn Weeks and Father Alan Weeks, and brothers Patrick Weeks and his wife Katie Weeks and their daughter, baby cousin Rosemarie, and Noah Weeks and Gabriel Weeks and his wife Erin Weeks. Jaynee was preceded in death by her Grandmother and Grandfather Alvin and Ruth Bennion, and Grandmother and Grandfather Eloy Sr. and Eufelia Herrera. She was also preceded in death by her Grandmother and Grandfather John and Katherine Makinen and Robert and Evelyn Weeks.
