Jay Kent DeVisser, 57, passed away on April 1, 2009. Jay was the middle child born on October 10, 1951 to J.C. DeVisser and Janice Crump (deceased 1968); appropriately place between older sisters Christine and Louise, and before Kelly and Gale. As sole brother, he teasingly tormented, protected and loved all his sisters. Jay had a heart of gold, but a tender fragile heart at the same time.\n\nJay became the proud father of Jayson David DeVisser while living in Ogden Utah. In 1976 he joined the army and with his discipline and strength, he became an airborne ranger and travelled the world bravely on many dangerous missions. He was honorably discharged in 1986, and resided in Florida for many years, after which time he moved back to his roots in the Rocky Mountains to be near his son and family. He shortly thereafter met his sweetheart Lynn. They moved to Montana where he and Lynn enjoyed a small ranch where Jay’s grandchildren would visit and play.\n\nJay is survived by his love Lynn, son Jayson (Sarah – deceased) and grandchildren Chelsea, Jesse, Alivia, Emmah, parents JC and Ingie DeVisser, siblings Christine Bramsen, Louise (Alex) Johnson, Gale DeVisser, Tina DeVisser, David (Heather) DeVisser and Chris (Laurie) DeVisser.\n\nWe “felt” his reunion with his mom Janice, sister Kelly (1969), Sarah (2005) and the many others of kindred spirit and know he’s now having a big “barbecue” and laugh in heaven. Thank you to the amazing care from the VA Hospital. Peace be with you brother dear.
