Jean Gale Hensley, beloved Wife, Mother & Grandma went to live with our Heavenly Father on February 19, 2009, after a long illness.\n\nShe was born Nov. 30, 1933 to Ferris and Louise Pidd Gale. She married Glen C. Hensley on May, 17, 1952. Her greatest achievements were giving birth to her five children which she was very proud of. Her hobbies were crocheting and crossword puzzles. She was a faithful member of the LDS church until the end.\n\nShe was survived by her husband, sons, Glen Jay (Carolyn) Hensley, Robert E. (Larene) Hensley, Daughters, Susan Brown and Lori Gladden, 26 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her mother, father, mother and father-in-law, her daughter LuAnne, a great granddaughter and great grandson.\n\nWe would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that have taken care of her. An extra special thanks to Hearts for Hospice.\n\nFuneral services will be held Mon. Feb. 23, 2009 at the Kearns 1st Ward, 4270 W. 5700 S. Friends and family may call Sun. 5-7:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 S. State St. and Monday from 10-10:45am at the church. Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
