Jennifer DeMille Blum, 47 of Herriman, UT passed away, unexpectedly at her home on July 12th, 2022.\n\nShe was a wife, dedicated mother, sister, loving niece, cousin, cherished daughter, a friend to all; human or animal.\n\nJenn was born in Craig, Colorado on November 4th 1974, spending her childhood enjoying a ranch life, living in the great outdoors with horses, animals, fishing, snowmobiling, archery, girl scouts and taking part in school sports. From an early age, Jenn had a deep compassion for children and animals; they were naturally drawn to her. She was a member of DECA and was blessed with a gifted mind. As a teenager she moved with her family to Midvale UT where she graduated from Jordan High School, class of ‘93. Jenn started her own business when still in her teen years; providing cleaning services and later found delight in working as a nanny. She began her career with Utah Power, there she found many lifelong friends and the career she enjoyed. Later building her own home in 1998 and becoming a resident of Herriman, UT. Her home has been a favorite gathering place for friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and children for over 20 years.\n\nJenn married Chris Blum on October 20th, 2008. They started their lives together with Chris’s children Abigail and Brian Blum later extending their family with the births of their younger children Parker (13) and Daphne (9) Blum. In 2013, they welcomed into their home her youngest sister Valerie, though middle and high school, until she left for college.\n\nJenn was passionate about her children, often spent time baking, going to movies or watching Scooby Doo with them. In recent years she loved to “Glamp” with her husband, children and friends. She was always available to lend a helping hand or support to friends, family, co-workers, neighbors or anyone in need. Jenn has touched so many lives by being the one to brighten their day with truly thoughtful acts of kindness.\n\nShe is survived by her husband, Chris Blum; their children, Parker, Daphne, Abigail, Brian, Kiwi, Penny; parents, Elizabeth Jo & Grant Davis, Michael & Cheryl Blum; siblings, Brad,& Jessica DeMille, Shelly DeMille Johnson & Alan Clapp, Valerie (DeMille) & Noah Hursh, Joey DeMIlle; nieces/nephews: Deni Chanel Johnson & Arryn Funk, Dylan Leslie, Maddie Leslie, Payton Chow, Bastian DeMille, and Julian Hursh; along with many endeared Friends, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.\n\nShe was preceded in passing by her father: Denzel R DeMille, brother Denton R DeMille and beloved Aunt Susan Hilkey.\n\nAlso her adored companions Jackson, Shania, Ruby, Trixi.\n\nServices will be held July 22nd, 2022 from 6-8pm at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095.
