Jerome James Abele (Jerry) Obituary (1958 - 2013)

Jerry left his family and friends way too soon. He was a loving father, husband and friend. He was born and raised in Helena, Montana where he learned to hunt, bowl, play softball, hockey and was involved with many other sports in his life. He was a hardworking, strong, dedicated diesel mechanic. He married Tamara (Tammy) Lynn Record on August 25, 2007. They have 2 wonderful children, Payton 5 and Austin 3. They were their Daddy's whole world and He was their's. He was always willing to help anyone with anything. His family called him the Dog Whisperer, for he seemed to have a special connection with them. Survived by Mother , Eleanor Morris (Montana); Wife, Tammy; Daughter, Payton, Son, Austin (Salt Lake City); Brothers, Dave (Christine) (Florida), Doug (Montana), Jeff (Montana); and Sisters, Debbie (Tom) (Oregon), Sheila (Lex) (Montana), Linda (Jerry) (Montana). Mother and Father–In–Law, Carol and Dave Record (Salt Lake City); Brother–In–Laws, Jeff and Cory ; Sister-In–Laws, Jenny (Scott); and Mandy (Jeremy) (Salt Lake City); and his dog Indigo. Preceded in death by his 2 brothers Billy and Michael. Special thanks to the EMTs, the Doctor's and countless member's of the trauma team at the IMC hospital for their valiant attempt to save Jerry. Also special thanks to his co worker Wayne who stayed by his side until the EMTs arrived. Go Rest High On That Mountain. A viewing will be will be held Sunday, April 14, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkin-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, and on Monday, April 15, 2013 , 10-10:45 a.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 15, at 11:00 a.m., also at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, Murray.
