Joan Swensen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Dahle Swensen, born September 20, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024 in Orem, Utah.

Joan was a beloved wife to Blaine, a devoted mother to Eric, Stephen, Jared, Heidi, and Justin, a cherished grandmother, a great-grandmother, and a loyal friend. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a dedicated Mother and Nurse.

Joan was an incredible woman, full of life and love. She was a kind and gentle soul who always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a very loving mother and always put her family first.

Joan was a woman of great faith and courage. She was a true example of what it means to be a mother and wife.

Joan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11:00 am. A viewing will take place prior to services at Jenkins-Soffe from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.
