JoAnne Flory Obituary (1937 - 2023) - West Valley City, Utah

JoAnne Dixon Flory passed away on August 17, 2023 of Alzheimer’s Disease. JoAnne was born March 27, 1937 in Kenilworth, Utah to James and Annie Dixon, second to the last of nine children. JoAnne graduated from high school and attended trade tech. She married Emett Jensen, Raymond Harcombe, Jerry Beard, and Leon Flory, four marriages and five children. She is survived by two daughters and one son: Debora (Stuart) Jones, Becky Watkins, and Jerry Beard, eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. JoAnne had fiery red hair with an English (Dixon) attitude. She was loved by all. She said she’d “never be old” and she never was. She will be missed by her family and many friends. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
