Jody Lynne Larson Allen Obituary (1961 - 2019)

On February 23 at 4:55 pm, Jody Lynne (Larson) Allen, 57, of Magna, UT was surrounded by her children and devoted husband when she gained her angel wings. Our sweet Jody was born on November 18, 1961 to Albert E. Larson and Paulene (Turner) Larson in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married her soul-mate Jeffrey E. Allen on June 24th, 1983 in Magna, UT. She unconditionally loved her three children and their spouses, Trisha (Marie) Beagley, Ryan (Autumn) Allen and Ashley (Casey) Allen. She was a proud grandmother to Lucas Dastrup, Cooper Allen, Jase Allen and Avery Wasden. Family was the most important thing to Jody. She had a deep connection with her little sister, Jolene Landford, as well as her brothers, Brent Larson, Craig Larson and Randy Larson. She was a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews and loved all of her extended family. Jody’s heart was big beyond measure. She touched many lives as she made friends easily and was a second mom to many. Her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and hugs will be missed greatly. We’re so grateful for the many memories we shared with her, the unconditional love we felt from her and the influence she has had on our lives. Her spirit and holiday traditions will be carried on in her honor through her children. She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. What a reunion they must be having! Services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at 12:00 noon, at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., Murray, with a viewing prior from 10:00-11:45 am. Interment: Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
