John Falaniko Williams was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 18, 1979. He was called on and returned to be with our Heavenly Father at the age of 42, on April 11, 2022.\n\nStarting at the age of 13, he became a very hard-worker many knew him to be. Providing for those who needed the help, finding ways to give when having nothing, and volunteering for every opportunity he had. He was also known to be very stubborn; putting others before his own health.\n\nWhen John moved to the states, he met his beautiful wife, Tanya A’talina U’ilani Vamanrav Williams in 1999, converting into Mormonism. In 2002 they had their first child, Leatalua Lokelani Williams, followed by four other beautiful children; Seini DeAnne Williams, Sunshya ‘Ionita Williams, Falaniko Ranchod Williams, and Pita Chintamani Williams.\n\nGrowing up, John got into playing sports, (such as football and Kirikiti “cricket”). He was so passionate about football that he became a very loved football coach for the Cyprus Pirates. John also loved to attend church at the Magna 2nd ward. He was a Godly man and at the same time, both sons, Falaniko and Pita Williams biggest fan on the sidelines. \n\nHe was one but many-A humble man. He treated all of the kids around him as if they were his own. He gave people his time, his words, and his love. He was caring to many from afar and near. \n\nFor those who got to know John, knew his pride and joy was his family. He was his kids biggest supporter and main provider. Although he’s been battling with heart problems, he would still go to work to make ends meet. \n\nJohn survived by his beautiful children, his loving wife, his beautiful sister (Lua Lagaaia), his caring parents (Leinati Fuatino Faamatogi Tofilau and the late, Falaniko Levi Willams), and his close family and friends that showed endless love and support for him and his family. \n\nWhile he will be missed, John will still be watching every single one of his son’s football games and guiding his wife and girls through whatever trials may come their way.
