Joseph Daniel Wade, Jr. Obituary (1930 - 2012)

“Joe”On November 20, 2012, our precious Joseph returned to his Heavenly Father. Joe was born July 28, 1930 to Helen Young and Joseph Wade, the oldest of eleven children. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a dedicated salesman for 38 years for Mountain Fuel Supply Co.Joe had an artistic eye and enjoyed working with wood and tinkered inside and out. He was a robust, gentle Dutchman—loved his home, family and many adoring friends. He prized his shiny Cadillac, and smoothly combed his hair. Joe cooked with zest, was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. He loved his family unconditionally, was a man of integrity, character and honor. He deeply loved his wife, Patricia, for 28+ years.Joseph is survived by his wife, Patricia McGee Wade; children, Jeffrey Wade (Andrea), Jana Parker, Jill Jakubowski, Shayne Wade (Brenda), Tiffany-Burke Pickett, Maury Burke (Tracy), and John Burke (Katherine); sister, Mary Jane Gomez (Ben); 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Canyon Creek Assisted Living, Hospice for Utah, and Midas Creek Home Health for their loving care of Joe.Funeral services will be Monday, November 26, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, Murray, Utah. Interment: Holladay Memorial Park.
