Joseph Melvin Wisinski passed away at home on July 18, 2008 of congestive heart failure. Joseph was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 25, 1932 to Joseph Wisinski Sr. and Alice Gaudynski. Joe was 2 years old when his father died of pneumonia after being hit by a bus. Frank Prah was his step-father.\n\nJoe married Leona Spraitz in 1953, later divorced. Married Shauna D. Middaugh Nageli on September 9, 1977.\n\nJoe served 10 years in the Army and was in the Korean Conflict. He was a master sergeant. He worked at A&E Generator for 32 years. He loved bowling in their league. He loved sports of all kinds. His favorite teams were the Jazz and the Green Bay Packers.\n\nHe is survived by his wife, Shauna; Daughters, Debbie (Ken) Beattie, Dawn (John) Zretnar, Denise Zoela and son; Joseph (Dawn) Wisinski III. Step daughters; Paula (Mike) Nageli Cheshire, Lesa Nageli Ward and Linda Nageli. Brother, Frank Prah; sister, Nancy Peterdorff. Grandsons, Johnny, Lee, Mark, Travis, Chris and Dustin. Granddaughters, Jennifer (Peterson) Lucero, Angie Martinez, Stevie Martinez, Cheltsa Italasano and Heidi (Miltenberger) Martindale (Bryce). Great-grandsons, Damian Lucero, Terror Lucero, Dominicc Lucero, Lyric Martinez, Joseph Martindale, and soon to be great-granddaughter Muriah.\n\nPreceded in death by step-daughter Rhonda Nageli and grandson Cody Martinez.\n\nHe loved all of his children, his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and in his words “I love them all a whole bunch.” \n\nHe always was teasing and joking with them. He called Jenifer his “pain in the butt”, lovingly of course. He called Dominicc “Sneaky Pete” because he was always sneaking around trying to get into Grandpas stuff.\n\nHe was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and brother. We loved him and are grateful that he is out of his pain and misery and in the arms of our Father in Heaven. A special thanks to Hospice and a very special thanks to Joe’s nurse, Michele and aid Jose. They became part of our family and we love them.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Wednesday July 23, 2008, at 12 noon at the Meadows Ward, 5735 South Fashion Blvd, with a viewing on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.
