Joyce Rodriguez Negron Obituary (1961 - 2016)

Joyce Margaret Rodriguez Negron passed away of natural causes on May 14, 2016. She was born March 9, 1961 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was deeply proud of her Puerto Rican roots. After graduating high school, she studied micro-biology at InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico. She was married for over 40 years to her loving husband and best friend, Rene O. Negron Quijano. Joyce was a people person who was selfless and always smiling. She was a fluent salsa dancer, a coffee enthusiast, and loved all animals. Joyce was an excellent cook--her joy presented itself in the food she made. She is survived by her loving husband, Rene Negron; her caring children: Manuel (Becky), Joa (Rocio), and Rene Jr. (Olivia); and the "loves of her life"—her grandchildren: Easton, Ainsley and Lincoln. She is also survived by her brothers, Victor (P.R.), Carlos (TX), James (NC) and Robert (P.R.) She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Manuel Rodriguez and Ligia Hernandez Rodriguez. "We love you Mom; You will be forever in our hearts. Take care of abuelo and abuela." A special gratitude is expressed to our family and friends who traveled to be here with us.
