Beloved Wife & Mother\n\nOur beloved June Wallin Stuber passed away on August 7, 2006\nJune was born on February 29, 1924 to A.G. and Lillian Wallin in Salt Lake City, UT\nJune was the middle child of seven. June grew up on a dairy farm, which she loved. She had the chore of taking care of the chickens. June graduated from Granite High School, where she was Senior Vice President, Secretary of the Court, Reporter on the school newspaper and member of the choir. Upon graduation she attended the University of Utah, where she received her B.S. in Education, graduating in 1948. During college June met her true love, J.C. “Bud” Stuber. They were married on June 20,1946. After college June taught kindergarten and first grade for Granite School District for seven years. She decided to quit teaching when her first child was born. June belonged to the Willow Creek Country Club where she enjoyed many friends and playing golf. June is survived by her husband and best friend, J. C. “Bud” Stuber of 60 years, three children Tom (LaRayne) Stuber, Penny (George) Stewart, and Peggy (Dennis) Peterson, five grandchildren, Stacy, Brandon, Shauntae, Tana, and Michael, five great grandchildren, Skyler, Geniah, Kinzie, Kayla, and Samantha, two sisters, Nila and Doris. Proceeded in death by parents, A.G. and Lillian, brothers Dean, Kay, Sherm, Sister Melba and daughter Sandra.\n\nFuneral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens.
