Kimball Eugene Davis, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, age 77 passed away on June 8, 2022 in Murray, Utah. Kimball was born on January 5, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Billy Eugene Davis and Elthura Kimball Davis. He graduated from Cyprus High School in 1963 where he cultivated a love of barbershop music and had the opportunity to sing in various groups throughout his life. After graduation, he served his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force serving in Pakistan near the Khyber Pass during the Vietnam War.\n\nHe married Shirley Jean Moore August 4 1969. They spent 31 years together raising their 5 children before she preceded him in death on March 23, 2000. He then married Kristine Petty September 21, 2001. Together they had 21 years of companionship and fun adventures.\n\nKimball was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities. He served in the Bishopric, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, High Priest Group Leader, Elders Quorum President, Sunday School President, Deacons Quorum Adviser, and Scout Committee Chairman. Along with his wife, Kristine, he served a church service mission at the conference center from 2012-2014. The most important thing in his life was his family. He spent many happy hours with his children and grandchildren attending all of the important events in their lives. He had a firm testimony of Jesus Christ. Throughout his life he always did his best to follow the Savior's example by loving everyone.\n\nHe is survived by his wife Kristine and his children, Aaron (Angela) Davis; Tyler (Jill) Davis; Collin (Bobette) Davis; Spencer (Jennifer) Davis; Kimberly Davis-Anderson (Ryan); grandchildren, Cole, Gage (Kara), Kylee, Kade, Brodey (Kylee), Sayre (Emily), Elly (Cody), Caleb, Niah, Tyson, Baylee, Abbie, Andrew, Isabella, Addison, 4 step-children Annelise Murphy (Mickey) Kjersti Parkes, Benjamin Parkes, (Luana), Jeffery Parkes, 5 step-grandchildren, Preceded in death by his parents, first wife, a step grandchild, and brother Stephen Dale Davis.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Riverton 12th Ward at 12:00 pm (12459 South Dansie Way, Riverton, Utah). Friends and family may visit at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10400 South) from 6:00-8:00 pm on June 23 and from 11:00-11:45 am at the church prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South.
