She attended East Sandy Elementary School, Union Middle School, and Hillcrest High School and graduated as a Husky in 1989 and loved the life-long friendships she made along the way. Kimberly later moved to Las Vegas and made the Dean’s List at the College of Southern Nevada where she received her associate degree in criminal justice in 2006 and graduated top of her class all three years. While attending school, she had an internship with the Henderson Police Department and really loved the work.\n\nIn 1990 Kimberly was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Alyssa, who was the love of her life. She was so proud of her and would endlessly boast about her. She later packed up her life and moved to Las Vegas where she loved the warmth and was always excited to tell her fellow Utahns how warm it was in Vegas when it was the middle of winter in her home state. In 2014, her daughter made her proud once again when her grandson, Amari was born. She thought Alyssa was the best mother and loved her grandson with all her heart and with every ounce of her being.\n\nKim worked at Smith’s Food & Drug in both Utah and Nevada for 20 years until she moved back to Sandy, Utah in 2018 to help her family. She then worked at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Merchandising and in 2023 she became a Customer Service Agent at the Salt Lake City airport until she passed on. Her dedication to work and relationships that were made will never be forgotten.\n\nThe love Kimberly had for her daughter, grandson, family, and friends is irreplaceable. We will miss her sense of humor, her laugh, her talks, and her quick wit with her jokes and funnies.\n\nKim is survived by her mother, father, daughter, grandson, brothers, sister, and many nephews and nieces.\n\nA private service will be held in her honor and a Celebration of Life will be held later and there will be more information to come.
