Lela Aliene Simper Obituary (1922 - 2009)

Lela Aliene Simper, age 86 of Murray, UT passed away April 15, 2009. She was born June 8, 1922 in West Point, Utah to John Alfred and Matilda L. Olend Youngberg. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Kenneth V. Simper; seven daughters, Sharon Juretich, June Moreland, Kendra James, Patsy Hoard, Wendy Anderson, Pamella Newman, and Lorri Shaver; one son, Bruce Simper; 38 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Murray 24th Ward, 755 E. Three Fountains Drive. The family will receive friends at a viewing Sunday, April 19, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, Murray, UT, and Monday at the church from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment: Murray City Cemetery. Our dear Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother will be missed—however, we rejoice in the knowledge of her joyful and cheerful reunion with loved ones who have passed before.
